If you love Vauxhalls and tyre shredding action, nothing, and we mean nothing comes close to PV Show. And this year, everyone’s favourite Vaux show celebrated a decade of delivering high-octane Vauxhall action to the masses.
As you’d expect the famous Santa Pod ¼ miles was at the centre of the action, with a full on day of Vauxhall-only Run What Ya Brung, the Team Vauxsport Ten of the Best qualifiers and the UK’s best Monaros and VXR8s in the V8 Thunder Shootout on the Saturday.
Whilst on the Sunday there were Cramlington District Autocross displays on the Rally Stage, the VXR powered Westfields in the action arena and demos on the off road course by the Muddy Frontera Club.
Away from the moving action there was the was UK’s best performance Vauxhalls on display across the numerous club stands, with the top Griffin embezzled motors on show in the Yokohama Power & Style Awards.
Auto Series sponsors Adrian Flux Insurance services were also on hand, and spent the weekend giving out free quotes and keeping everyone entertained with their giant Scalextric and F1 Simulators and the supersexy Flux babes. Ding dong!
One of the highlights of the show was the Total Vauxhall Magazine stand, where the boys from TV shared their extensive knowledge on all Vauxhalls old and new, met readers and showcased an array of ex-feature and cover cars.
Other features included the Official Partner Showcase & Retail Village, the Vauxhall Live Action Arena, the Terry Grant Stunt Show and the Drift Taxis from our buds at Chizfab.
Despite the weather, it was a cracking weekend and we loved every minute. So a big ‘thank you very much’ to everyone that posed for pictures and said hello.
Look out for our PV Show report in Fast Car Magazine real soon.
